Associate Professor Rafaela Božić has been working at the University of Zadar (Division of Russian Language and Literature) since 1993. She teaches courses: Russian Syntax, Translation of Literary Texts, Dystopia and Language, Brodsky, Language of the Russian Poetry, Professional Translation. She was Head of Division of Russian Language and Literature from 2011 to 2014, and has been Head of Department of Croatian and Slavic Studies since 2013. She has been external associate at the University of Mostar (Head of Department) since 2013. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal Croatica et Slavica Iadertina. 

She held guest lectures at the Academy of Civil Aviation (Saint Petersburg), Russian State University for the Humanities Moscow, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) Moscow, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Belgrade, Faculty of Arts and Humanities Graz and Faculty of Arts Ljubljana.

Field of interest: Linguo-stylistics, Literary Translation, Dystopia, Iosif Brodsky.
